I've created this blog as a place to share news and notes about happenings on Florida's Emerald Coast. My intent is for this blog to be a place where I, the agents I work with in Coldwell Banker United and anyone else for that matter can share our passion for the Emerald Coast.
This first post I'd planned to be an introduction to our community, but a potential crisis compels me to jump right in and provide anyone who reads this the information they need. I'm shifting gears and instead providing information about the Oil Spill that resulted from the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.
We live in one of the most amazing places on the planet. The beaches, the fishing, the water sports, the restaurants, the family activities, need I go on? We've survived Hurricanes and high waters. We've survived exploding development and a massive real estate recession. My point? We'll survive this. After the oil hits our beaches or not, we'll survive and move on. In the end, this will still be one of the most amazing places to vacation, live or visit.
Please feel free to post pictures you'd like others to see, comments, and/or more information. Here's what I've been able to gather so far.
